BMC Tattoon: Be The Content Conductor, Not The Caboose

Regardless of the business you are in, the new reality is that your customers are doing most of their research themselves – searching all the content available before they ever reach out to you about your brand.  The question is, then, from where (and from whom) is that content originating?  If your answer is not ‘me,’ then you are missing an enormous opportunity.  For it is far better to be leading the content train then to be screaming from the back.  Or, as stated in the image above, “Be The Content Conductor, Not The Caboose.”

As VP of Global Marketing & Content Management for SAP, there are few people around who know more about Content Marketing than Michael Brenner. We first met Michael when he was a Brand ManageCamp attendee about 10 years ago. Since then, we have enjoyed watching his career skyrocket and are so happy that he will be joining us at Brand ManageCamp 2014 as a speaker, discussing “The Future of Content Marketing.” Michael will show us why content marketing is such an important initiative to master while giving us the insights and tools we need to do it more successfully.

Don’t miss Michael Brenner and 12 other amazing speakers at Brand ManageCamp 2014, Sept 18-19 in Las Vegas. Register by May 30th to take advantage of our lowest pricing ($500 off full conference price).

I really hope you like this week’s cartoon.  I am really excited about it as it represents a new style with which we are experimenting. We call them ‘Tattoons’ and they are the result of commissioning a super talented local Denver tattoo artist (Tracy Campbell). We really want our cartoons to stick – and what sticks longer than a tattoo?  If you like it, please pass it along.  If you would like a print to frame in your office, just let us know and we will make it happen…

I hope we get to see you in Las Vegas!
